  • Access to the back of the panel: It is necessary for the technician to be able to access the back of the damaged panel, which is not always possible depending on the location of the dent.

What are the main techniques?

  • Use of specialized tools:

    Technicians use a variety of precision tools to massage the dent from the back of the damaged panel.

The cost of removing dents with PDR techniques can vary significantly depending on several factors:

  • Dent Size:

    Small dents (less than one inch) are usually less expensive to repair, while larger dents increase the cost.

  • Number of dents:

    Repairing multiple dents can be more expensive, although volume discounts are available.

  • Location of the Dent:

    Dents in hard-to-reach areas, such as panel edges or near structural reinforcements, can increase cost due to the increased difficulty of repair.
